Take some US Dollars with you - In certain places you may be asked to pay for (entrance) tickets or (photo) permits in either Rs or $$$ - for some reason the price will be say Rs500 or $5 (Rs500 is over $11 !!! so you are getting a great deal paying $5 you will only pay about Rs220 - Half Price???)
Holiday Tip For Goa 2. If you choose to eat-out - Eat where the local Indians are eating! You will get a much better deal on food and drink.
Holiday Tip For Goa 3. If you use ATM's when on holiday open n account with "Nationwide Building Society" as they don't charge for any ATM transactions overseas!
Holiday Tip For Goa 4. ATM reciepts contain your full card number so for your security retain them and pulp/shred/burn them when you get home!
