Indian Trains

We took two return Indian train journeys whilst we were on holiday in Goa.

The first Indian train journey was a 9 hour trip by second class sleeper (reserved) on the South Western Railway from Margao Main Station, Margao, Goa to Hospet in Bellary Province in the Indian state of Karnataka.

The second trip we took by Indian train was a 5 hours jourrney by second class seated (reserved) on the Konkan Railway from Verna Station, Goa to Udupi (pronounced Oo-Do-Pee) in Udupi province in the Indian state of Karnataka.
